Where the photographs happen

The Grand Ballroom

Vaulted ceilings, statement chandeliers and — the part that matters — a sprawling interior balcony over the dance floor. Shooting a reception from above changes everything: you get the whole room, the crowd and the couple in one frame instead of a series of tight shots from the floor. Very few Triangle venues offer that.

The Cocktail Lounge

Soaring ceilings and multiple large chandeliers. This is the arrival set piece and where the cocktail-hour portraits happen.

The Garden

The outdoor space, with rose planting, used for ceremonies. It is the only natural-light exterior on site, so if you want daylight in your ceremony pictures, this is where it comes from.

The Crystal Ballroom

Lighter and more contemporary, with a separate entrance, its own restrooms and a whitewashed bar. That self-containment makes it genuinely useful as a second-event room — a mehndi, a nikah or a sangeet running alongside the main day.

Timing your day here

The rental is 11 hours total — four hours of access before, a six-hour event, an hour to clear. Build your timeline inside that, not around it.
Ceremony in the Garden if you want daylight, in the late afternoon. Everything else here is interior and lit.
Couple portraits — Garden first while the light is there, then the Lounge and the Ballroom chandeliers after dark.
Reception — we shoot from the balcony as well as the floor. Tell your DJ where the balcony is; it is also the best place for a first-dance wide.
No published music curfew, but venue hours run to 11pm. Confirm your end time in writing.

Aria is a capable, well-appointed banquet venue, but be clear-eyed about the fit:

Its catering partners are Persian and Mediterranean, not South Asian. No Indian caterer appears on Aria's published partner list, and the venue does not state in writing whether an off-list caterer can be brought in. That is the first question to ask.
Halal is available through one of the listed partners, which matters for a Muslim wedding.
Open flame and havan are not addressed anywhere in Aria's published material. Do not assume a sacred fire indoors is possible — confirm it.
The Crystal Ballroom's separate entrance and private restrooms make it a genuinely good second-event room for a mehndi or a nikah.
