Privacy Policy

SureshJ Photography is the trading name of SureshJPhotography LLC, a wedding and event photography and videography business in Morrisville, North Carolina. This policy covers sureshjweddingphotography.com, sureshjphotography.com, our quote builder (quote.sureshjweddingphotography.com) and our booking pages (book.sureshjweddingphotography.com).

What you give us. When you contact us, build a quote or book: your name (and your partner’s name, if you add it), email, phone number, event dates and times, venue, guest count, the services you choose, and any notes you write. When you sign an agreement: the full name you type and your consent to sign electronically.

Payments. Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — we receive only the card brand, the last four digits and the payment status.

Collected automatically on our quote and booking pages. Your IP address, approximate country, device and browser type, and the date and time you view your quote, open or sign your agreement, and make a payment. We keep this as a security record and as evidence if a payment is ever disputed. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Photos and video of you and your guests taken at your event.

On your own device. The booking page may keep the name you type on your phone (in your browser’s storage) so it isn’t lost if your connection drops. It is sent to us only when you sign.

• To answer your enquiry, prepare your quote and check our availability.
• To schedule your event, prepare your agreement, take payments, and send receipts, confirmations and reminders.
• To deliver your photos and video through a private online gallery.
• To prevent fraud and to respond to payment disputes — this can include sharing your booking record with Stripe or your card issuer.
• To meet tax, accounting and legal obligations.
• To show selected images in our portfolio and on social media, as allowed by your agreement. Tell us if you would rather not be featured.

We never sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the services that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, our booking database and email routing.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — sending booking, agreement and quote emails.
• Formspree — the contact form on this website.
• Google — our business calendar and email, and the fonts on our pages.
• Pixieset — your photo gallery.
• ntfy — booking alerts to Suresh’s phone (your name and event title).
• WhatsApp or your phone carrier — only if you choose to message or call us that way.
• Our photography team — the photographers working your event see the schedule, venue and contact details they need.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.

• Quotes you don’t book: quote links expire after six months and their details are deleted with them.
• Accepted quotes: kept for one year in our quote system.
• Bookings, signed agreements, payment and audit records: kept as long as needed to provide your services and for tax, accounting, legal and dispute purposes — generally up to seven years.
• Your gallery: hosted for the period stated in your agreement.

Our pages use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to booking records is restricted to Suresh with a private admin key. Each booking has a tamper-evident audit log, and we never store card numbers.

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except records we must keep for tax, legal or dispute reasons). You can also ask us not to use your images in our portfolio. Email suresh@sureshjweddingphotography.com and we will reply within 30 days.

Our website and booking pages are not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Photos taken at your event may include children when you ask us to photograph them.

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date below.
